Sunrise Cullen Bay the clouds lit by the rising sun reflecting off the pools of water, rocks and wet sand that has been left by the ebbing tide.
The storm that blew through the night has moved towards the east and the North Sea.
Cullen Bay is on the Moray Firth, contained between Scarnose to the westward and Logie head to the eastward.
